hehe, well my mum heard about WiiFit, watched the Ad and then told me to preorder it and was annoyed that it wasn't coming till 2008 
She also enjoyed that spoof ad on you tube...all shown using Wii Internet channel

Preorders are up 10% since yesterday. The extrapolated preorder value is now closer to 55k, with over a week for preorders.

i think the mass appeal for this accessory/game won't be much, at least initally. if good games that implement the wii board come out (snowboarding game?) come out, that would help it sales wise.
i'm going to guess 105k sold first week.

I do not think that a snowboarding game would be a good match for the board as it is too small for you to get your feet in a proper snowboarding position.
However if there was a snowboarding game supporting dual wii fit boards as an extra it could be cool.
Also, while I think Wii Fit will be a success I really cannot see how you can do Yoga on this thing outside of a few standing Asanas and maybe headstand/shoulderstand (if you can get in the postition on the board for the latter).
Doesn't matter anyway, as I prefer doing Yoga in class (last class, about 20 women with half of them in their 20's and quite a few of those pretty with a couple stunners and me as the only male student, nice).

Wii fit doesn't strike me as a game that a lot of people will preorder, the intended audience just doesn't strike me as the type who would go in and preorder the game
