What, is Assassin's Creed II only cost $30 nowadays? And MGS4 only 20 bucks?

I didn't like Batman very much, it is a great game for comic fans, but I'm not one of those. Metal Gear Solid 4 is my most favourite game of all time, so go figure. If you are a PS3 owner, you MUST have the following: Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2 and God of War 3, all these games are above anything else you'll find on any console.

Both AC II and Batman are great, but not as great as MGS4.

GOW Collection, but only if you never played GOW 1 and 2 before,if you did, get AC2,that game is HUUUUUUUGE

Yeah, avoid MGS4 if you haven't played MGS1-3. I have to disagree with KylieDog though, Metal Gear Online is loads of fun, but only if you can look past the technical blunders.

 

But AC2 and BAA are definitely worth it.

Don't get MGS, it is an absolutely fantastic game, but it is made almost in homage to all mgs fans that have played the previous games and get the plot. All you'll probably feel is that the game is a long winded and cheesy cinematic expirience with way to much load time. That said there are moment where I was left is absolute awe and it easily rank as one of the best expirience I've had on the PS3.

Batman from that list however, is probably the best all-rounder game. The demo from PSN did not even properly displayed 1 tenth the awesomeness that awaits you in this game.

Ermm...no. It's not a game for everyone. And he won't understand the story without playing the first 3.
