Forums - Sony Discussion - do you remeber MAG? It´s kinda "out of the media.."

That's impressive. I wasn't really expecting it to pass half a million (this is without me having tried it, but it seems that it had little hype and media attention.. Not to mention it lacks a singleplayer campaign.)

Check out my game about moles ^

I'm still playing it, and there is still a very active community. I think games like BC2 pulled a lot of players away, but it's still one awesome game in my eyes.

As for the naysayers, please don't bash it, it's an awesome game, shame you didn't enjoy it.

i agree i played BC2 for about a month then went back to mag ,  that community is only going to keep growing especially when more dlc comes in , the people that love it absolutely love it and wont touch another shooter just like the socom guys and the people that dont like it tend to play the more run and gun "simple headed" shooters lol sorry but its the truth

I wanna buy it but my PS3 is still dead :( Might get another PS3 soon though... *sigh*

Do I remember?! MAG's the shit! Compare it to how Warhawk and Confrontation sold, this game did wonders.

I love MAG and still play it when im not playing newly realeased games.

I think the community is progressively failing. First off, when people take leadership roles, they should usually have a microphone and point their little squad into the right direction. Don't see a lot of that going on. And it annoys the crap out of me when people just go off on their own when instead they should be doing their objective like attacking or defending at a designated location. The lack of microphones are also a bother. I would definitely love for people to give me a heads-up if a whole crapload of enemies rush-in.

The fact of the matter is that MAG was just either an experiment or just something done for fun because I don't really see anything special in the video game. As a online-only game, players should have certain essential peripherals already purchased. I sometimes feel that it would've done alot better on Xbox Live just because of the simple fact that users on XBL usually care more about their online experience.

i still play it and like it. i think it will reach 1 million sales eventually since there isnt another fps coming out until medal of honor i believe?

i still like mag and bad company 2 >>> mw2

just my opinion tho

I had an awesome time playing when I rented it for the double XP weekend. Took my level 31 raven character to level 60 in that time. I was invited to join a group of people early on in the weekend and I ended up staying with those people till I had to return the game. We were all communicating and nailing 1000xp+ in many of the battles. That weekend was so much fun.

I'd like to get it, but I'm not interested in spending more than $30 on it.

As others have said, it's competing directly with Bad company 2.... which is kinda awesome.
