I still allow the first game being lackluster due to lack of experience. It's rare for a developer to hit something new out of the park. They can't all be like Retro.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The single player for the first game was decent, but the online was noted to be good, in terms of design more than connection. If the local multiplayer is good this time, they have a better hit on their hands.
And my brother still has his 360, so I'm not short of shooters on HD systems, and this is still good news for me, since this has better control.

Not for me they don't. I felt the original was an 8, and if they deliver the same experience I am there on day one. *edit-At least an 8.

My brothers themselves got 360s; I do too. However, even my older brother acknowledges that the precision of Wii motion control in an FPS is THE best way to play the genre.
If The Conduit 2 is good enough, he won't hesitate to buy it for me. The problem he has with Wii games, are that he has trouble finding the 'core' ones; he never hears word about em'.

by the sounds of all the new stuff, this one is set to be billions of times better than the original. though im still a little skeptical (due to the first game being so hyped and then being a bit of a letdown). the atlantis sounds cool, as long as they do it right. gonna be interesting to see the first art, scvreens, and vids.
Not really worth getting excited about HVS projects. From their other projects, anything could change between now and release.
I'd rather see The Grinder in its original design than Conduit 2.

I enjoyed the first one but with all these crazy high voltage announcements lately, I'm gonna remain skeptical until more is showed.
