Forums - Gaming - was is your sleeper hit of the year so far?

Bayonetta easily.....after IGN gave the game a 9.6 , the J man had to see what the hub bub was about. Never did the J man think it would be his favorite in the genre toping GOW and be such a pleasure to play , even becoming his third favorite game ever.

Its was one of those rare moments where the J man was thankful for the review system.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

No More Heroes 2. If that counts.

Heavy Rain surprised me, but all in all I have to say that - from the games i've played so far this year - ModNation Racers is giving me the most fun :)

MAG for me, most hours played this year of any game and the only FPS I can process on console without the urge to swear about noobs and aim assist.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

White Knight Chronicles.

After hearing so much bad things, the game itself surprised me a lot. Not the best game out there, true, but a very solid JRPG with a great combat mechanism, albeit a bit slow.

Plus, the sheer amount of things to do online puts other games to shame in content xD

I have to say Toy Soldiers. My cousin told me about this game and I've been hooked ever since. Campaign and online is really fun and addictive. I like how it sort of combines a lot of different styles and you can chose to play it however you want, like a traditional RTS, action game, 3rd person shooter, arcade shooter, flight game, etc.

Star Ocean - i never expected that it will be so good after all the reviews.
