you actually have more time to press QTE in 2 compared to 1...... just saying....

i thought faster reaction time + knowing the controller were skills? in order to be good at any game on any console/pc, don't you have to first know where all the buttons are? isn't that a skill on itself? Anyway, I really don't see why you hated the QTEs so much, as others have said, they are the EASIEST part of the game. o_O

I think many of you people who come in here saying that if anyone gets annoyed at a single QTE part that they must instantly suck at all games are completely missing the point of the OP.

He did not complain that the QTE's when killing a an ogre, minotaur or the other bosses were terrible. Or that they were difficult, too difficult or even annoying.

The OP was stating that the 1 particular part at the end of GoW2 where you have the 1 time miss on QTE equals instant death against Zues was annoying as hell. Especially since it required much faster reactions then any other QTE in all 3 of the GoW games.

Stop instantly saying that a person sucks at all games or at all QTE's because 1 part is frustrating or annoying. I am sure that all who do so have at least 1 time or another bitched and complained about a part in a game that they though was annoying. And I am sure there are many out there who thought that said part was easy.

Are you one of those people who has to look down at the controller to know where the button is?

Maybe you should play more sony, because if you know where the buttons are, it should be pretty simple.

God of War II has an awful story so the ending was dumb as well.

OT: You must consider that you plain suck at games Twesterm. Both final bosses were so easy that I consider them pushovers. The QTEs are second nature is there anything that doesn't annoy you?

I will honestly say the Zeus QTE was the most annoying for me. The main reason it got annoying is because each time I missed a QTE I had to watch Kratos die and then re-watch the cut-scene where Kratos gives up to Zeus. That was annoying as hell. I had to go through it several times because at first I thought there would only be 1 or 2 QTE's, then there was the rapid "circle" press followed immediatly by another QTE. That part screwed me over on numerous occasions.

I have no problem with any other QTE, It was only the Zeus one that bugged me and got on my nerves as expressed prior.

Yeah I remember that the section was really annoying, but I was specifically addressing the part where twest can't press the buttons fast enough when they appear onscreen.

GoW II's story was better imo... Maybe you're just mad because it isn't a cheesy emo-fest JRPG.

GoW II's story was a better representation of Greek Mythology..

I finished GoW II not too long ago and while I did die around 7-8 times doing that sequence, it's not as bad as you describe it.

For me it was just a matter of knowing when the next button was going to pop up and being alert to hit it in time.

@OP you should quit gaming, or dedicate yourself to DS or Wii, or something entirely different, like gardening.
