So basically can PS3 sell 1.7 million faster than the 360 sells 1.1 million? I say it's going to be close because the 360 is going to have the Splinter cell bundles if I'm not mistaken, PS3 has stock problems that are soon to be fixed, 360 has deals at best buy and gamestop that give you 50 dollar gift cards...its going to be so fucking close...discuss. BTW I say 360 is gonna get to 40 million first!

360 will reach 40 Million about 2 weeks before PS3 reaches 35 Million.

I don't know, PS3 outsold it this week by 75,000 units, it'll be close. I'll go with PS3 anyway.

it needs about 7 weeks to 40m ,if sales stay at ~160k, while PS3 needs 240k weeks for the next 7 weeks to make it to 35m, which isn't likely to happen

360. splinter cell is coming and the march bundles will help the 360 a lot.

PS3 will just edge in a win here if SONY can fix the shortages and if sales stay strong. Though it will be close... the might even get there in the same week

If Sony can get their fix their shortage of ps3's in the US, then ps3 will probably get to 35 mil first.

PS3 HW sales will drop now after release of its big hitters and the weekly gap will come closer to 40k than actual 70k, so it's to brainer that X360 will hit 40m earlier than PS3 35m.

It's funny how fanboys think that after release in short time games like: Yakuza 4, FFXIII, HR & GOW3 sales of PS3 won't go down, heh. After Yakuza 4 it will go down by 15-20k in Japan alone next week.
