First off, what's screen tearing? I'm too lazy to look it up.

And secondly, franchises that have a sequel every year and the fact that Infinity Ward never got the message that COD is terrible.

1. Infinity Ward does not want a CoD game every year, Activision does
2. Who is this message going to come from? The reviewers that have given their last few games averages over 90 or the people who have lead to the over 40m sales

Review scores and sales mean nothing these days.

I really don't understand why CoD: MW2 got such high reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's AAA quality, but they release CoD games every freaking year and nothing much changes to be honest.

We have the same rating WIzarDE, i second those mate

Loading time... I hate when you wait like for a minute just to start the game.

When you play a game and the jumping doesn't work very well and you always fall and die...

When a game is too violent just to get attention from kids who want to play violents games cause it's suppose to be fun and cool...

Games with bad scripts and bad voiceacting.

And bad controls.

2 things mainly

1. the move towards realism.  Costs are sising too much and realism isnt really being achieved at all.

2. The decreasing amount of games in genres I enjoy like Shmups, Platformers, and action adventures in favor of racing Sims (I prefer arcade style) and way too many FPS games.

1) Long - Long load times...
2) Mandatory installs on consoles -> they should be optional, imo...
3) excessively difficult or time consuming trophies/achievements (FFXIII Treasure Hunter... all SO4's achievements... Bioshock 1 trophies...)
4) Game previews / news about big games waay to early, seriously i don't care that game x is in development if game x won't be out for another 2+ years...

-Mandatory installs( everytime I go to my frnds place to try new games on his PS3) that last over 5 mins

- Jerky framerate. I much prefer a locked down 30 FPS than a game that bounces between 15-60 FPS)

-Poor menu systems. I hate digging thru 10 menus to get to basic settings... Oh and I hate PC games that make me restart the game just because I wanna change the resolution.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

- Generic macho man characters
- Team Ninja style female characters (that isn't sexy to anyone over 14!)
- overlong cinematics. I want the game to have a good story, but I don't want 20 minutes of videos between playing
- QTE's, if the cutscene is so long you need something to break it up, shorten it (see above)
- cinematics that are just action sequences. did the game think I might cramp it's style if the combat was under my control?
- dialogue that appears one letter or word at a time. I read fast, I would rather a while block appear at once, and when I am doing reading it, I can press a button to continue. I am aware a lot of games let you press a button to speed up dialogue, but it's irritating. The game does not become more "cinematic" by slowly giving me the text.
- in games with voice acting, not letting me turn the text off (I instinctively read the line, and then I already know what is going to be said which ruins any dramatic effect in the acting)
- in games with bad acting, not letting me turn the voices off

And the biggest of all, I hate it when the story and the gameplay are separate entities. Each one made with no thought to the other, giving me "story time" and "gameplay time".

3DS - 2277 - 6636 - 6675 WiiU - Vectorferret
(Write on wall or PM if adding)

Games trying to be 'mature'
too long or too many cutscenes

but worst of all is bad controls
