If you lost your bait, that means the fish DID nibble on the line, and you missed your cue; if you retract your pole before any fish bites the lure, you keep your bait.  Keep a very close eye on the lure next time, and keep your ears open as well: you'll hear a small *boop* sound when they nibble on the line.

No no. When I said "so decided to go for it anyway. Lost all my baits as expected" I meant it wasn't working at all and the quest time was reaching the end. So, I pulled at random.

I'm at 95 and I'm just trying to get titles right now, I'm trying to get 30 jhen mohran kills, I got 16 right now. I was in a good group yesterday and we went 4 for 4 on Jhen Mohran plus . We all had Alatreon weapons and killed it everytime with time to spare.

The elder dragons(Jhen Mohran, Ceadeus, Alatreon)titles are 10,20,30 defeats. Yup, you've got yourself a bugged version of the game.  Sorry!  Good news though: you can skip the Goldenfish quest without any penalty (it's mostly there to teach you how to fish).

yeah looks like a rare bug :( Send the video to capcom and see what they have to say, might send you a free copy. in the meantime, have a go at the other quests, then jump online and play with us PAL chartzers. If ever you find yourself needing goldenfish I can just give some to you :)

Hey guys! I got the game a week ago and I just found this thread here. I would be interested in joining quests sometimes. I'm really early in the single player though, and only got up to Round 3 quests. I'm HR 3 so far too.

My name on there is KIRK. My ID is RY68P7.

I'm not feeling so great about playing online if I can't really chat with you guys on there though. I tried with the d-pad on the 'mote, but it's just too slow. I'd be interested in getting a USB keyboard. I guess any will work, or does it have to be a specific one for the Wii?
