Also, I did before you joined an Agnaktor AND Red Hot Party and did both with no deaths, got like 5 ancientshards and 4ish Hvy armour spheres for mining, as well as countles other things!

Also, yeah I got a ruby as well, AND a Uragaan ruby earlier

The problem with joining random parties is that you never know what to expect from those people, that's why I prefer questing with people I played with before.

My plans for today changed though - I forgot that I promised to attend a charity auction, so probably no MH for today.

But I'll be back!

Lol....but I realize it tends to work like that. You get a few in a row, then goes into a drought.

I needed some low rank materials from Gobul. So I killed him in offline mode. I needed more time to find a nice outfit, than to actually kill him. But at least the shades I got from the event got a proper use for the first time. (I made an outfit with carving master and stun by combining the shades, the ranger armor and the guild plus armor.)

29:07 !!!! Yes I finally beat the barroth, barioth & rathalos arena within qualification time. 29:07 !!!

I hadn't tried the arena fight for over one week. So I thought I might give it a try yesterday. Barroth was first. The hunt was good, however he managed to kill me one time. I tried to heal myself, while he was in rage mode. Was my own fault. Barrioth was second. This part of the hunt was incredible easy compared to my last tries. I think I only died 2 times. I learned from my past mistakes and only countered his air moves. Rathalos was last. And he gave me a hard time. I died more often than usual. But I still finished with 29:07 !!!

Now only one arena is left. Rathian & Rathalos. But it should be doable. My record for this one is already under 21 minutes.

First I avoided this arena challenge, because it had no weapon I like. Then I started to collect coins for Ranger Armor and Guild Armor and other stuff. Of course I also needed barioth coins. So I started to learn to use the lance. At first I had problems just to survive the arena. A few tries later I survived the arena, but ran out of time. This was always frustrating, because rathalos was limping most of the times. Than I started to win in the arena, but I still needed much time. And now I am good enough to finish the arena within 29:07. And I have enough barioth coins for my armors.

When I started with monster hunter 3 I disliked arena mode. You usually get crappy weapons & crappy armor and have to fight monsters in a small arena. But now I recognize, that arena mode is made for top hunters. Without it I would never have tried the lance.

Just checked this thread. I started to fight in the barroth, barioth & rathalos arena on 22nd september.

That's NP- I should be able to do it again, closed due to snow again

Also, tried to defeat Deviljho on Tuesday and was so close, but I feel as though a better team was needed, or more practise...

Aside from that, good runs with Agnaktor and Uragaan, and Rathalos, so it's been quite a good week!

However, what has happened to the friendly community online? I was stuck with a bunch of HR31 people in my "skilled players only" city, so I decided to leave and join some people who were around 54ish. Asked them if they could help me with Deviljho, and I can safely say for the first time that I actually felt offended by what this man said to me in reply. Needless to say he was on the block list now

Still, this is something I expect from maybe XBL, not Wii! I think maybe too many people are taking this a bit too seriously and forgetting that , at the end of the day, this is just a game, and that people play it to have fun. I hope that this applies to no-one in this community and this doesn't happen to you, but let it be a warning...

However, yes, I'd be happy to play again at around 5ish, anyone else from PAL region want to join us?
