Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo 3DS Announced! (3D!!)

^^

Gasp, maybe the next Wii will be even as powerful as the 360? haha
sorry...
But to talk about "high tech" when speaking about nintendo is somewhat stupid imo

I just hope sony counters them with a new PSP that is piracy protected like the PS3

Nvm, this is completely confirmed. Here's the major media outlet I was waiting for:

Thanks for the confirmation. Now we can commence the holy crapping.

Nintendo sure aren't standing still. Neither are they afraid of high tech with a 3D high powered handheld.

If they're willing to do this, got to make you wonder what they'll do for the next Wii in the tech department.

Kinda what I am thinking. I am liking all this big innovation stuff much more than the up the bits of the 80's 90's and w/e. Though I am still not sure What a 3D screen would actually be like. I know what 3D glasses are and stuff, but with no glasses??

No problem.  I always wait for the big media outlets to confirm before I start holy crapping... which is now beginning haha.

But no Nintendo has taken a very strong stance on the market since that Q2 fiscal 2010 report and it's almost an entirely new Nintendo.  Very aggressive and similar to how they were before Wii and DS took off.  Nintendo is definitely pushing the envelope here with this idea, and I'm rather curious to see what this means haha.  I guess I'm even more curious as to what Sony has to think about this haha.

Nintendo's been acting weird lately. I kinda miss the big reveals. E3 will be exciting because of this and Zelda, but not as exciting as it could be, because we already know about this and Zelda.

Where's the surprise?! I want E304 all over again lol.

Now all I need is read it on something other than IGN and I'm there.

Still its a good way to blow the wind out of Sony's sails with Move, make motion control look like last gen and Sony is only catching up to Nintendo

And that is because? The Wii wasn't Nintendo's only console.

If they've any consistency this generation, Sony will mock, criticize and dismiss it straight up until the day they release the same thing in black.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I'm less excited by the prospect of 3D than I used to be. I'm more interested in what interface changes Nintendo might make, or whether they intend to expand their handheld's capabilities as a media and internet device.
