Forums - Nintendo - How will you play Zelda Wii?

After watching this interview (which I recommend for everyone on this forum, regardless of gaming interests), I remembered that Zelda Wii will use motion controls, and at the same time (taking a wild guess here) many Zelda fans on this forum will want to play the game in long stretches. If you are going to be swinging your arms around in combat, how long can you play the game? Do you think it can be played any other way?

Do you think you can have long sessions of playing this game without getting tired?

This might be pre-mature, we haven't seen the game yet, and I have never played a Zelda game before, so I don't even know how much combat there actually is in the game. But still...

Around the Network

I used to play Twilight Princess for 1-2 hour stretches before my arms got tired, so something liek that maybe

I'm certain they'll balance it so that it will be conducive to long play sessions.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

arent we jumping to conclusions?

I feel confident that Ninty wont overuse big motions in the gameplay. How many motion controls were in Brawl?

Flick my wrist like I do with every Wii game.

Around the Network

i'm going to stand in front of my TV and swing the remote like a real sword^^

It will be a dream come true.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Full motions using every muscle in my body, with deep, throaty grunts.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

GUILTY!!
However, I'll play Zelda Wii with my Wii.

I will play it like this:

*weilds an imaginary sword and attacks an imaginary Octorok. Makes loud AAAHHH sounds whenever he makes a kill. Also makes HUH sounds whenever he jumps.*

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Different. This game is going to be very important for the proselytization of motion controls. They're going to need to saturate this game with motion, it'll just have to be done carefully.
