It's such a no brainer, I'm not sure why all the involved parties haven't realized it yet...

I'm guessing that Capcom does not want to share the royalties with Disney. Maybe Disney will ask for too much of the profits. That's about all I can guess right now.

Well, Sega's been pretty active in courting stuff... maybe they'll strike a deal with Disney?  I'd download Quackshot and Castle of Illusion in a hot second.

I hope they do. There are a lot of fans wanting to play those games. Let's hope Capcom gets active and pursue an agreement with Disney like they did with Marvel.

Rare games would be nice. I was a huge fan of some of their older ones like RC Pro-Am, Captain Skyhawk, and Battletoads (I even had their license games like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and WWF Wrestlemania); as well as their obvious later games like Donkey Kong Country and Banjo Kazooie.

Thinking back on it, my collection of Rare developed games is probably larger than any other company (even Nintendo and Square), it is a huge shame that they fell apart.

Great to hear people's suggestions. Chrono Trigger, Sonic CD and Faxanadu almost made my list, and of course I omitted Rare games and Disney properties with the likelyhood that the former will never happen and the latter may not.
Other honorable mentions for the list included the Mega Man X series, Seirei Senshi Spriggan (the sequel to the awesome Genesis shooter MUSHA), and arcade-perfect ports of many of my favorite Capcom games: Ghouls n' Ghosts, Strider, Final Fight, Forgotten Worlds, etc.

You put Bad Fur day in your opening comments but then not in your list!? For shame!

I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of that game for years (I don't like buying vintage cartridge games online because I like being able to see them first) and would have a geek-asm if that came on the VC.

I would say the same thing about Earthbound but I recently got another copy a few months ago to replace the one a younger cousin took years ago.

I would want 007 and conker n64 too but like you said they won't happen now that rare is gone to microsoft. Definitely earthbound and metal gear 2. Never played either.
