Keep in mind this list is for the NA Virtual Console; some games may have already released in other regions.
Many of us would like to see GoldenEye, Blast Corps and Conker's Bad Fur Day on the Wii's Virtual Console, but let's face it- it ain't gonna happen. Many other games such as Castle of Illusion: Starring Mickey Mouse may or may not make it due to licensing issues. Therefore, I've compiled a list of games I'd very much like to see appear on the VC. Some might make it, some certainly will, and some should have been out already in my opinion:
#10 Earthbound - SNES - I've never played it, but I'd like to, and I'm sure many of you would too. Now that Ness and company have been introduced to many of us via Super Smash Bros., I'd like to see where they came from.

#9) Castlevania: Bloodlines - Genesis - A great game that no Castlevania fan should miss. With the recent release of the much anticipated Rondo of Blood, my appetite is officially whet.

#8 Metal Gear - NES - Take note Metal Gear Solid fans- this is where it all began. A huge, lengthy game for its day with an insane arsenal at your disposal, Metal Gear introduced the world to Solid Snake and Big Boss.

#7) Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake - MSX2 - Although released as a bonus game with the PS2 release of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, many have never played the true sequel to the original due to its import-only release back in 1990. What did we get instead? A lame, non-Kojima made game entitled Snake's Revenge. Yeah, thanks, Konami. You owe us this...
#6) Contra - NES - Easily one of the best two player games on the NES, Contra set the standard for intense action and '30 lives' cheat codes. Where the hell is this game?!

#5) Beetle Adventure Racing - N64 - Detailed car sims? Realistic racing physics? Who needs 'em! Let's drive into a building, through a movie theater and bust through the screen for a shortcut. This game is just pure adrenaline; arcade-style racing at its finest, crazy shortcuts and one of the best looking games on the N64, Beetle Adventure Racing could have a happy second life on the Virtual Console.

#4) Bionic Commando - NES - PS3 and 360 get a fantastic stylized remake of this game entitled 'Rearmed' and Wii owners don't even have the original yet? What's up with that?! Come on, Capcom; anyone who's never played this game before is seriously missing out. Oh, and if you've played the new Bionic Commando, you know, the current 3D version, then I'm sorry for you...

#3 Final Fantasy 3 - SNES - Yes, it's part 6 in the lineage, but the Super Nintendo version (labeled '3' as it's the third one we received in NA) is arguably the best version of this great game, and for my money, the best Final Fantasy game period. Why? The characters, the story, the fact that you don't have to wait forever for your summons... seriously this game was truly epic. Seeing Cyan say goodbye to the spirits of his murdered wife and child- a very moving scene indeed, especially considering it's told with no fancy cut-scenes. Final Fantasy fans know what I'm talking about. And Kefka > Sephiroth, IMO.

#2) Darius - Arcade - This three-monitor wide arcade monster was impossible to faithfully translate into a home version back in 1986 when it debuted in arcades. Today however, with widescreen TVs, a little letterboxing and it would be good to go. We've seen sequels and the like at home since, but nothing compares to the beautiful sights and sounds of the original. Oh, the music...

#1) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - SNES - How, oh how is this game not on the VC yet?! One of the most under-appreciated games ever, Yoshi's Island is NOTHING like the travesty that is Yoshi's Story and many times better than Yoshi's Island DS. This game stands proud with the best the Mario series has to offer... seriously. If you've never played it you're missing out on some of the best level design and creative boss fights in gaming history. The visuals are gorgeous; crayon-colored backgounds that actually look like crayon, huge sprites, beautiful scaling and even polygon effects (thanks to the Super FX2 chip) make this arguably the prettiest Super Nintendo game ever released, and inarguably one of the best. You gotta play it.

And this is my top ten wishlist for Virtual Console. What games would you all like to see?
