He's obivously talking about NA, as always.

It's amusing that he never talks about worldwide numbers though

why is it Amusing ? 360 is Still Ahead WW.

Because he constantly talks about how 360 is outselling PS3 weekly in the US.

And now he suddenly says 360 has DOUBLE the install base WORLDWIDE.

Take a look at the numbers for yourself and you will see otherwise.

Balthier & Lightning FIGHT!!

lol just joking....we all know lightning would win easily!

I agree with your view carl BTW!

looks like Balthier Wins this time , i dont see anywhere where he Said They have Double the Install Base Worldwide.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

CVG has edited the article, removing the word Worldwide.

Gaming jounalism at its best.

While he said WW, he cannot be that delusional. He must of actually meant US.

That was so much fail in just a few words :D he is smoking some good stuff alright...

It is acceptable if Greenberg meant US instead of worldwide. However...

Greenberg claimed that 360 had more exclusives than PS3 last month in an interview with CVG.

If last month meant February, then this statement is quite dubious if you exclude XBLA, PSN, and timed exclusives.

I like how in the article, where they show the quote, he says nothing about it being WW, yet the amazing journalist decided that WW would be a better title and threw it in....

Once again...Let's see the DIRECT QUOTE, because he's 100% correct, if he is talking about NA! I remebered how some said when PS3 dropped to $299, it would blow past Wii and 360...hmmm...it doesn't seem to be happening.

Why would Greenberg focus on Worldwide numbers? From launch, M$ has been concentrating heavily on making sure it can outsell Sony in NA and stay competitive in PAL, and it's doing just...this is a business, and you pick the battles and opportunities that have the highest ROI...this isn't a kid's competition that many on this site don't seem to get!

I'll put it in context...I'd like to see another company take 40% of market share from M$ in the software business, or 40% from Intel in the CPU business, and people not have a cow over that. M$ has done a phenomenal job in getting the Xbox brand as a viable, and PROFITABLE business unit, and htey did it by focusing on battles that they can win at...such as NA!
