Do you purchase DLC's ( downloadable content )?

Hell yeah! 7 50.00%

Never 7 50.00%

Total:14

Hey guys, a question popped into my head the other day after I checked out some DLC's. How many people actually purchase DLC's? It helps to buy DLC's for they help to add more hours of story or maps to a game, and that's pretty sweet. But I've noticed that more people on Xbox Live do it than people on the PSN; Is that because the PSN is free and less people feel obligated to purchase anything from the network? Or maybe another reason entirely. Whatever the case maybe, I would like to hear your honest opinion on whether you have bought DLC's or not, and if you have, then which network? Please no flaming, and your honest opinion would be greatly appreciated :)

Sometimes, it depends on the game and how much I enjoyed it/wanted more. I did buy the new packs for Fable 2 and Mass Effect, but passed on some like Assassin's Creed 2...

I bought DLCs on Xbox Live and PSN

the choices are a little too black and white.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Not anymore. Because I'm paranoid and believe that most DCL is completed and held back a couple of months to get some extra cheddar. I also believe I'm being watched all the time O_O

ya I do

Yup, but like everything else in the industry, I'm only buying it if I'm convinced I'll like it.

EDIT: And I only buy on PSN, but only because that's my only real option.

I purchase a ton of DLC. I've gotten every Dragon Age add-on, every Oblivion add-on, every Mass Effect (1&2) add-on, each Gears of War map pack, each Halo 3 map pack and more I am sure. I think I've even gotten expansions for arcade games (puzzle quest). In each case, the DLC I've gotten I've used, and in most every case it came after I put alot of hours into the core game already.

I think the biggest reason I see no problems with it is that I was seriously addicted to diablo and diablo 2 for many years and each of those had some of the first expansions to come out for games at all... it stretches the life of a game out so much that I view it to be a worthy purchase. Oh and there are more achievements O_o

Also, I put down MS points as a christmas/birthday gift item for every person who asks. Usually I score enough that I rarely put any money myself into it, and I can use the points with my Zune account and buy new music albums. So it's safe to say that I enjoy the MS points too yes yes.
