With reports that the PS Move is already inferior to the Wii mote (even though its still in beta) and the PS3's inability to move 3rd party software, especially games created by Square Enix, I am assuming that this will remain a Wii exclusive.

so much fail in that post

lol.  Carl, you should said WiiPSP, that at least would've been plausible.

I do not think it will be. After the success of the DQ9 on the D.S. it would be a bit of a slap in the face again to Ninty. But, it does not really matter to me if it does or not. If the game is good it will be good on any platform. Same goes if it is bad.

No, square enix won't sink billions doing this game on the PS3 because the userbase isn't as big as the Wii, which as the wiimote and nunchuk as the standart controller and the same doesn't happen on the ps3.

So the real userbase for this game on the PS3 would be ridicously small for such an expensive game IF the game would require the PS move.

But they can always do it with classic controls, which I don't believe they will either.

The correct wording, as has been seen with another certain company, is Nintendo money-hatted Square Enix. So, no.

Most likely Dragon Quest X will use just the standard Wiimote sideways (like a lot of Nintendo Internal games do) or theWiimote/Nunchuck games do.

I can actually see the game adding some unique things to the gameplay if they add the nunchuck.  And no, not'waggle' features but some nice menu swapping features and ideas for battle.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Don't people get tired of making this thread and continuing to be wrong?

Why would the game most likely be controlled sideways? I know to make it more old school but what's wrong with using the nunchuk as well to move and to go through menus and stuff.

Like I said, they have an either/or option.  Because in reality, Dragon Quest games in the past didn't require more than 4 major buttons.  And heck, even Nintendo has major RPGs on the market that utilized the sideways Wiimote option (Super Paper Mario/Fire Emblem).  There's actually a lot more options with a sideways Wiimote then you might think.

But I agree.  I hope they add the Nunchuck to the equation.  Because it will allow them to do a lot more things, such as like I said.  The possibility of adding more 'hot' buttons in menues or even create unique functions in battle.  Much like they did with the PS2 and DS for DQVIII and IX.

Your character moved fine for the type of game it was (Arcade style on rail hack 'n slash).  Your character was suppose to only move in straight lines.  However, the main problem in Drago Quest Swords (aside from the voices) was the slashing of the sword.  If they made a sequel that utilized WiiMotionPlus, it could easily be one of the better games on the Wii.

Of course, I don't want that to be the gameplay for the MAIN Dragon Quest game.  But I would like to see a sequel.

I'm talking about in towns, where you had free movement with the Dpad.  It SUCKED!
