Most likely Dragon Quest X will use just the standard Wiimote sideways (like a lot of Nintendo Internal games do) or theWiimote/Nunchuck games do.
I can actually see the game adding some unique things to the gameplay if they add the nunchuck. And no, not'waggle' features but some nice menu swapping features and ideas for battle.
