Like I said, they have an either/or option. Because in reality, Dragon Quest games in the past didn't require more than 4 major buttons. And heck, even Nintendo has major RPGs on the market that utilized the sideways Wiimote option (Super Paper Mario/Fire Emblem). There's actually a lot more options with a sideways Wiimote then you might think.
But I agree. I hope they add the Nunchuck to the equation. Because it will allow them to do a lot more things, such as like I said. The possibility of adding more 'hot' buttons in menues or even create unique functions in battle. Much like they did with the PS2 and DS for DQVIII and IX.

Your character moved fine for the type of game it was (Arcade style on rail hack 'n slash). Your character was suppose to only move in straight lines. However, the main problem in Drago Quest Swords (aside from the voices) was the slashing of the sword. If they made a sequel that utilized WiiMotionPlus, it could easily be one of the better games on the Wii.
Of course, I don't want that to be the gameplay for the MAIN Dragon Quest game. But I would like to see a sequel.
