I thought that GameCube was remembered better than it was recieved, myself. I mean, there was nothing more that the "hardcore" loved to do than rip on the GameCube back in the day, but now it is remembered quite well.

i mean Microsoft is losing so much money and they manage to score some great exclusives BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY get games onto their platform that wouldn't have gone to them initially like Final Fantasy, maybe DMC & GTA...etc. having them as multiplat isn't bad AT ALL

Nintendo is making WAAAAAAAAY more money in the console war, i'm pissed they haven't tried to get better third party support for top franchises

I still think that the GC was the best console of last gen. It's not the number of exclusives, it's the quality. Also, I don't like most sony franchises, with the exception of Jak.

ANd that is the true problem today with many companies. They think they run the show. We get what they want not what we want. Even though they for the most part do a horrible job of it and it shows.

I will never feel bad for any of these companies losing money for making what they wanted. I will feel a bit bad if a company who tries to meet what customers are wanting does though.
