I can see it, if the PS3 does have a 10 year life and another price cut in a year or two, as people will probably pick the console up as a media center for their TV's that does blu-ray.
If it ever dropped to $199 I can see a lot of people picking it up just because it's a cheap Blu-ray player that has a HDD and wireless

Except by the time the PS3 is $199, you'll probably be able to get a 360 for $99 and a blu-ray player for $60. Blu-ray players will be dvd player cheap within two years. The 360 will be dirt cheap or replaced in two years.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

I don't think "insider trading" means what you think it does. Fraud charges would be awfully hard to prove as well.
127 million ps3's sold is very possible guys. just think about it...
sure today, the ps3 is at 32 mil and the wii is at 68 mil. but come this fall, what's gonna happen? wii will announce a price cut and what will the ps3 do to counter this? hitch a ride with these two guys...
then once the wii reaches 100 million, trex jesus will stomp on the wii and the rest is what we call history boys. thread closed

A new xbox is not coming anytime soon , according to MS, and you really think that everyone is going to get another one after the first few years of the x360's life, I don't thinks so. I get fed up of you posting stuff like this.
Plus the fact that I know loads of people are returning to the PS brand this year, it is only going to get better for PS3, from here on.
On Topic Ps3 will reach 100m, but I doubt it will cross 120m, also Wii shall still win with over 120m sales, from my point of view anyhow.

It could happen if you count the PS3 and 360 combined life time sales as PS3 life time sales. So you have 65 million PS3s and 62 million 360s sold by end of 2012. 127 million PS3s sold.
Look dude, I credit the PS3 on being far more advanced than the competition, but lets be realist.
