You like Wii - Pikmin and Mario and your "little" brother PS3 - God of War and GTA? Just how little is he? :)

If he likes GOW, you can't go wrong with the third. If you want something unique, try Heavy Rain. Something enjoyable (I've noticed most of his fav games are third person) go with inFamous or Uncharted 1 / 2. You should've listed what games he owns / played.

Or wait for modnation racers, which should be similar to LPB.

If surprises are really that big of a deal then get him GoW3 and then as he opens it slap him in the face. He'll get a surprise and overall he'll still probably be happier than if you got him something different.

And Kantor has a point. If he expects to recieve GoW3 as a birthday gift, he'll be disappointed if someone doesn't get it for him.

I'd also echo those who've said Uncharted, though going by his gaming style, I don't know if Heavy Rain would be his thing.

Wow, I can't believe no ones mentioned Batman: Arkham Asylum.


If he likes stealth (or just video games) Batman is absolutely amazing!

Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and Infamous (not played that one but heard its good) are brilliant also, but if he's a stealth fan and wants something different without getting GoW 3 then Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the best games of last year (if not the best).

How about Heavy Rain? It's pretty different from the Norm.

ooo yeah batman is a good one, but im telling you, the kid needs GOWIII

Batman and inFamous would also be great choices, but if is expecting to get GoW3, I would really, really make sure that he gets it.

Since he likes GOW, get him Heavenly Sword, relatively short game but AWESOME!

if he likes RPG's then Valkyrie Chronicles as well
