I expect pikmin3 come e3

Ign stated on one of thier podcast that there is only gonna be old stuff at gdc for nintendo

I thought there was a rumor that Nintendo would be having a big hardware reveal at GDC. The rumor had something to do with a developer at Ubisoft talking a new Nintendo platform. I guess that rumor was wrong then?
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
Nintendo seems to like doing Virtual Console announcements @ GDC. They unveiled Genesis/TG16 support, Final Fantasy coming to VC, SD-solution, and VC Arcade all at GDC before... maybe we'll see Virtual Console Express for DSi this year?
Sakamotot is speaking there. Don't know what day though.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
traditionally, Zelda console games are always announced at GDC. I expect it, with a Christmas holiday release date.

Well that royally sucked, Nintendo's Somewhat Keynote by Sakamoto lacked anything fresh infact their isn't even any trailers or video of the keynote. Just a formal transcript by Gamasutra. Microsoft's wasn't much bigger. Sony completely owned GDC with the Move software and final hardware/name announcements.
Man I thought we'd see Natal or Vitality Sensor but no only Move!

Um, go nintendo.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
