Metal Gear Solid 2 was awesome it is the first MGS game I played now I have played and own all MGS Games with a full English Version set and a full Japanese Version set.

I LOVED Star Wars Galaxies, until the "Combat Upgrade" and yet I stuck around, NGE completely ruined it though.

2 things that SWG did really well that no other MMO I've played has matched....before the NGE it had the best crafting system I've ever seen in an MMO. Having randomly spawning resources with different stats was brilliant and actually allowed long time crafters and people who spent the time to be better than other people. I was well known on my server as being one of the best chefs because I spent the time to get best resources. Then once you got a good roll on creating the recipe you could save a schematic and keep making the same stuff, until you ran out of resources. It was an awesome system.

The second thing was having entire professions that had nothing to do with combat. My girlfriends favorite profession was Image Designer, she just hung around doing makeovers for people and she loved it. To this day we've played lots of MMOs together and her favorite part is always the character creation.

I would probably still be playing the game if they had just kept adding more content to the original systems that were in place before the CU and NGE.

Tell me one stupid thing I said. And just so you know, I did see the video, the guy saying "Sorry Kojima, we just didn't like it" made me lol alot. Next time please have the decency to post some arguments on the original reply instead of the typical "Your comment is bs because I said so."

MGS2

WTF?

The thing you guys don't get about MGS2 is that they actually swapped out Raiden from every trailer and led you to believe that you'd be Snake in the actual game the whole time, and then the game came along and you, well... Weren't.

They outright lied and you were supposed to play as some random new guy who wasn't very well-received (compared to Snake). That's why it's on the list.

Far Cry2 is one of the biggest dissapointments imo.

Update New number one:
Final Fantasy XIII

Over hyped. It was expected to be bigger than Jesus but failed to deliver. Mixed reviews on the game. Oh it will be a painful gaming experience, glad I will not play but we will hear all about it. Lowest rated main story FF game of all time.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is infinitely the number 1.

It was annouced 2 freaking years before release - and it was 2 freaking years of major HYPE! - and when the time came what I get:

Bad camera. Boring locations (they're the freaking same all over the game!). Sissy main character with some of the worst dialogues in the history of videogames. Neverending cut-scenes and 2 minute gameplay between them. But worst of all: The worst. Plot Ever. The mind controlling arm in ocelot was the first signal... but nothing compared to that convoluted, ridiculous, proposterous and just laughble plot.

Thank god Kojima redeemed himself with MGS3
