Metroids are jellyfish like parasites that essentially suck the energy out of you.
Samus is the main character, Metroids are a central creature in the story.

Samus still has a penis though right, c'mon, you know she has got to have one.
The shoulders, helmet and cannon look very good. The rest could have some extra work... especially the body armor Also, the girl lacks 'something' to give the entire Samus-feeling.
That picture there is definitely a good one...with the helmet on and in different lighting, it doesn't look as good. Still probably the best Samus outfit I've seen though.
