One thing I want somebody to ask PD, just so haters would quit nitpicking, is if the trees will be 2D or 3D.

^ Does it really matter what the trees are? PD is focusing on what is important, this will be the first racing sim I buy.

It's one thing I continuously hear haters nitpicking. So, I'd like it to be resolved.

Besides, the game is aiming for realism.

Don't get me wrong, this is a day 1 buy, as a long time Gran Turismo fan (it, PGR, and Burnout are the only 3 racers I've always played, FM3 and NFS1 are the only two exceptions).

Mario Kart's the only racer I can really get into, though I started enjoying sim racers a good bit after I actually started driving (I got GT5P for $10, and played it for awhile).

I'll probably get GT5, though I'm not sure how much time I'll really put into it.

What kind of visual customizations can you do in this game? Is it just parts and paints? Or can you add custom graphics and other components?
