atm i have a Radeon 6500 series 512mb and this means nothing to me , could someone tell me if this needs upgrading or if it will be fine for games coming out this year? i also have a 3.2 ghz pentium 4 processor is this worth upgrading?

You'll probably have to replace the entire internals of your computer. Everything you've listed is very much obsolete. Otherwise you'd need a completely new box/laptop to play games.

Quick tip. DOn't look at the first number, that's just the line of cards. The 2nd number tells it's true power. So a 9400 would be worse than an 8800. Just a quick pro tip.
