Forums - Gaming - Should I play Splinter Cell: Double Agent on X360 or GC?

So, I'm trying to finish the Splinter Cell *series*before Conviction, but I still haven't played Double Agent. I have 2 Options:

1. Play the "7th gen" version on 360. However, because I do not own a 360, I will have to play it with my cousin, and it will take me a longer time to complete.

2. Play the "6th gen" version on the GC. However, this is supposedly the "inferior" version of the game, and considering its on GC, it will have graphical drops from the original Xbox version. I will be able to complete this one at home(on Wii)

7th gen was created by Ubisoft Shanghai, and 6th gen was created by Ubisoft Montreal(the "real" splinter cell devs).

Help me pick!

has anyone played both versions?

Well 360 is the only choice.

How is the PC version? The games is not that new so unles you have a very sucky PC, you should have no problem playing that one.

Ι have played both (on XBOX and on XBOX360) and there are considerably many differences and different missions (The HQ missions, the introducing level etc)
If you want to have the full picture play both.
If you don't want to, I'd suggest you stick to the 6th gen version. But I don't know how the game looks on GC. The XBOX version looked spectacular, but the PS2 was shitty.
I guess the GC version, looks more similar to the XBOX one. So, there you have it.

I never played the last gen console version but Double Agent on 360 is a bad Splinter Cell game.

Or you could buy the Wii version. Just saying.

Neither... Double Agent IMO was a mistake, and far inferior when compared to previous games. Tough if you have to choose, you should go with the 360 version.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

From what I understand, the GC, Wii , XBox, and Ps2 version is a different game from the 360 version. I played the Wii version and it stunk. I have heard that the other version isn't any better. Most people agree that Double Agent is not nearly as good as the previous two games.

The 360 version of Double Agent is a good game. I prefer it over the last-gen build.
