I like PlayStation brand controllers, there always have a place in my gaming heart ... however after owning an xbox 360 for a little over a year now, i must say hands down, i know what 360 owners have been saying for a long while now.

The 360 controller feels faaar better in the hands then the PS style ones do, however i fucking hate the button placement on the 360 controller it sucks for fighters, PS3's controller schematics are perfect for that but feel crap in the hands... so in conclusion...

A tie between the current 360 controller and PS3 controller, if there were some kind of hybrid with 360's feeling and grip with ps3's button layout and analog sticks that would be the best controller ever.

Gamecube, and anyone that answers otherwise is lying to themselves.

Gamecube had the best feeling controller for a console. It fit well in your hands and buttons are shaped and placed in proximate locations allowing for fast button mashing (SSBM).

DS3, but with all the crap the controller gets from other people I'm starting to think that I only like it because I'm so used to the design. I've been using it since the early PSone days - it had no analog sticks back then, but the shape was basically the same.
