I would say God of War II.

• Longer than God of War
• Better graphics than God of War
• More boss battles than God of War
• Better magic abilities than GoW (IMO)
• More weapons than GoW

BUT

• Annoying cliffhanger ending
• Story not quite as good as the original (IMO)

2nd, its kinnda the same game just better in variety

I liked the original. Bit better story, but the second also has more weapons which is nice. The second also wins in platforming, which is god-awful in both games but slightly better in the second. But story is more important to me, so GoW wins!

The original started all, and that was the game that trully impressed me and showed me what the PS2 can really achieve Yeah, technically GoW2 was better, just that I have fonder memories of the first game

I haven't played CoO, but I'm gonna have to go with GoW2. The story got a little wackier than I had hoped towards the end, but the gameplay was much better than the first game. When I played through GoW and GoW2 on the PS2 some time ago, I felt GoW2 was a bit tedious after GoW, but now that I played through them in the Collection, it was the opposite. GoW was a bit 'meh', but GoW2 rocked harder than most games do these days!

And yes, cliffhanger (meh), though it is possibly the most awesome potential a game has ever given its inevitable sequel

I like God of War 1 since its the only game in the series I've played so far.

Ah man the first one. David Jaffe really knows how to make a game that you just wanna play over and over again. I finished GOW about 50 times when I bought it. I finished GOW2 about 5 times.

They are both great games, but I voted for GoWII. It's better in most ways. I also enjoyed the GoWIII Demo hehe.
