Okay so Im pretty sure we've all seen the shit storm that WKC's poor reception has caused and I've done some thinking. Would WKC have faired better if it was a Launch title or a 2007 title for the PS3?

I doubt it... if the US sales are correct then IMO its doing pretty good It will do well over 600k LT IMO, and thats not bad at all. it could have done similar numbers in 07, but with far bigger legs and far smaller profit/copy.

probably, I think would've gotten some leniency since it's overall is an average/decent JRPG on a freshly new console.

though it's my opinion I think reviwers are just more flooded with shooters and WRPG's, not saying they shouldn't be trusted when it comes to reviewing them, but I guess there not showing any/much leniency for RPG's that follow the same casual RPG/JRPG story, roots, and gameplay.(not that it's needed)

I think it would've performed way better in 2007 despite its issues.

The game is a very good concept overall but suffered heavily from some pretty crappy design choices. and the fact that the damn story is all over the place. I think it would have fared the same.

I just hope they fix things for WKC 2.

Well it was released in 2008 for the PS3 in Japan, so...

It probably would have been better for them to release it sooner after the original JP release. Why the wait until 2010?

Ya I think white knight woulda done bit better during 07 since there was like no exclusive jrpgs for ps3 then. now were getting white knight and final fantasy and ressonace all within a couple months so lots people r prob guna buy final fantasy in stead of white knight or ressonace.

Would have been a much more impressive game back in 07.

I mean seriously. Yes the reviews have shit all over the game, but in my opinion it is not nearly as bad as reviews said.

If it came out simultaneously with the Japanese Version in 2008, it definitely would have. Especially a 2007 title.
