I like DualShock...
But if new controller will be awesome, why not? =)
I think its triggers should be different and maybe placed a bit lower or closer to the hand.
But I won't be complaining about what it is now.
not sure why they'd need a redesign as they'd gain nothing from it. though they can always put more buttons on it and make it a......
didn't think so........
I hope they change it. Its far too small and the shoulder buttons ain't great at all. Its the main reason i've still not got a PS3. But i'm sure i'll end up picking one up this year any way.
I don't care. If they can come up with something better, then fine. If they decide to keep the current one, fine. I'm almost perfectly happy with the current controller, though I suppose not everyone is.
The ps3 controller meets perfection in my mind.

I've noticed many of the people in here have different understandings of what "newly designed" means.
"Newly designed" means completely revamping it - something like the difference between the Xbox and 360 controllers. Fixing the triggers is not "newly designed". That's updating an existing design. It's obvious they'll make MINOR adjustments to the controller - and nobody can make arguments against doing that. It's MAJOR changes that this thread is about.
