It actually makes the GoW series sound *that* good. And by 'fanbase' you mean a few people. And the review (text) warrants a 10/10.

Selnor, if a game gets 89, or 90. It's still the same game. People's definition of Amazing are different and Subjective. If Everyone's definition of Amazing or quality was the same , then the industry would have f*ck all variety.

OPM didn't give it a 10?! I don't know if that bodes well for it's AAA status.

Mass Effect 2 may not have quite the depth and consequences of Dragon Age - although it's impossible to tell, as both games contain so many variables - but it's the more polished and confident of the two. It is arguably the best RPG of recent years, and as a standalone game, a sequel, and a lead-in to the final part of the trilogy, it's an unqualified success.

9/10 is awesome. Just makes me more confident of my pre-order, can't wait to pick this up, i'll be leaving my review of it on here.

yea chalk up an 89 on meta lol, i think the only dissapointment is that we wont see it in the top 20 for ps3's meta, its not like people arn't gonna go buy it anymore

That really isn't the point, here. It's more that nine is impossible to construe as a bad score. It's a tremendous score. It's the score that is right by ten!
