They're a pair of legendary GameSpot scores. GameSpot was one of the first to issue a review for Lair, leading to the nickname "Factor 4.5" for Factor 5. They were also the only major site to score Twilight Princess below a 9. The 8.8 is probably the most famous review score in history, and it unleashed mass pandemonium upon GameSpot's forums (well, most of the internet gaming community) for about a day. Jeff Gerstmann actually recieved death threats over the score. xD
