1st playthrough took me 38 hours. I took my time and explored everything. Best game I can remember playing. I loved it! I'm going back through for all of the achievements I misssed. There's only a few and they're all obtainable.

Awesome, awesome game.

What's good is that they just patched it today so that planet scanning is much much faster. From what I understand, you can scan a planet now in about a minute.

I ended up with Miranda. Unlike the others here though I had no intention of staying faithful to Ashley from Mass Effect 1 and after we met her attitude towards me gave me reason enough to hook up with other people.

I didn't want to hook up with Tali for the same reasons I didn't want to hook up with Liara from the first game. My name is not Captain Kirk so I don't sleep with blue chicks or aliens. Plus Tali is one of my favorite characters and it would have put her health at risk. I will admit I considered trying to start something with Samara though because even though she was blue she had a mature and sexy cougar aura working for her.

I tried to romance Miranda and Jack at the same time but Jack got jealous saying I make a lot of trips around the ship and she basically told me to break it off with Miranda if I wanted to go any further with her which I didn't. I got put off by Jack's stories about how she use to randomly hook up with people and would participate in orgy's so I was protecting my Shepard from a space std. Miranda started out being snobby which means she would drive away most men. Also her issues with her father, protecting her sister, working with cerebus etc implies that she probably hasn't had the time to hook up with a lot of people although I could be wrong.

Finally I had a mini hookup with my assistant Kelly. We had a "private dinner together."
