Probably it will take on the lore as the bad ending being the true ending.

They could add the giants world and more expand the scope of the game to larger reaches than the kingdoms next to Boletaria.

Bigger weapon variety is also a must, at least give us higher tiered weapons or make unique weapons scale more with high leveled stats.

They could also improve magic by creating a system of tiered magic, or by giving levels to the magics themselves.

Would be great ideas.

And i want a bigger/better variety of armors.

More classes, maybe.

I really like your idea of levelled/tiered magics though.

I like all those additions and I really wanna try Demon's Souls but isn't the AI in Demon's Souls on the weakish side? All the bosses I've seen on YouTube seem very predictable in their moves, and almost unaware of where the player is.

Those videos are taken by players who know the moves/attacks of the enemies, and know how to exploit and counter. Or even know a "blind spot" where the enemy can't reach you with any attacks.

If you played Demon's Souls from the start with no guides or help from people online... You would just how difficult every/any enemy can be.

Oh. That's good to hear. Yeah because when they took down that spider, he ran back into the cave around a corner while the spider spit her flames. Was that an exploit? EDIT: I meant blind spot.

Because I was super-excited about the game until I saw those boss fight videos. :/

The back right-hand corner, where you enter is a blind spot where the attacks can't really hit you.

Don't let a few boss fights turn you off the game. The game is REALLY good, and REALLY challenging. You will die, even if using walkthroughs. One of the most challenging games i have ever played.

I regret I watched those boss fights lol. Tower knight and spider mother are ruined for me now, but hey u guys convinced me that I've got a distorted picture of the game from those videos.

I gotta get Demon's Souls before they make a sequel then.

I don't think you will regret it, but be prepared to die a lot of times.

Oh and also you'll find that some regular enemies will give you a more hellish time in the game than most bosses, mainly because at first you won't have the necessary tools to deal with them properly and will have to rely on skill and a lot of luck.

Especially the Black Skeletons and Giant Goblins.... :(

I hope they include more weapons and/or references to the original King's Field games... So many possibilities... So many wet dreams. ~~

Well here's what I would want (I know some people would disagree).

Get rid of the "class" system or at least give some class specific skills/moves/weapons. The starting class has some affect, but not that much, this is similar to what it was like in Diablo 1 but slightly better. What eventually happens is that the class doesn't matter.

Give cooler weapons with different properties. Make some that lose durability but allow you to do something special or others that grant you X uses of a particular magic. Make it so that there are more "unique" weapons with properties that other weapons don't have or have there be more "combine X unique with Y unique for MORE POWER!"

Make magic more useful. It has it's uses, but after a while, especially since AoE spells are super expensive to use, it's just the same to melee or bow things than to use spells.

Make certain monsters immune to certain damage thus allowing you to need different weapons on hand!

Make switching equipment easier (this might be doable already, perhaps I just don't know)

Make co-oping easier. It's too difficult to do so right now, or if you don't want people to co-op get rid of it all together.

Allow people to play online but not be "invaded" by black phantoms if they don't want to be.

Don't have playing online mess up your tendencies in random ways. This was the single biggest reason I beat the whole game 4 times offline. There was no easy way to co-op, I could get invaded when I didn't want to and getting to PBWT was near impossible online.

I agree with all of your views :)

But I have to add that you can avoid being invaded by BP's when you don't want to, just have the Banish Miracle handy when you're playing online, it's the best way to avoid unnecesary fights.

I would also take out the level cap system of the co-op, or at least make it a bit larger, so that you aren't as restricted as you are right now.

Maybe not immune, but I hope in the current Demon Souls mobs already have varied resistance to different types of weapons/damage though?
