Also thought Bioshock was overhyped.   Great atmosphere but didn't enjoy the game.

Since the start of this generation, it's been God of War III.

the game that i was the most over hype about got to be assassins creed, i actually tossed the game on to the floor at hollywood video when i returned it, the games ending was what surprised me the most of all, even part two had nothing to do with part 1 i am told. thinking about the game and my time spent playing the game still makes me mad that i done all those repetive things and was rewarded with the most horrible game ending experinece i ever witness.

This just amazes me. Six times already! How many hours each playthrough takes? U'r not getting bored?

I played Killzone 2 when it first came out.

Gears of War 2 was my most over hyped game this gen... And it turned out to be a colossal failure

You can beat the game in under an hour if you take the shortest path. I've never managed it though as my son always interrupts me. I've beat the game once with my brother, once completely by myself, ran through the game twice, and i finished off my brothers game once just to show him world 9. So that puts me at seeing the credits at least 5 times, but I'm pretty sure I'm missing one or two times.

when to you think it is good when barely anything is known about it??

Maybe my question was stupid, as I just rememberd that Mario is an arcade game, and I used to love the Arcades and replay them all the time.

I guess it's the feeling, the flow and the atmosphere that makes you enjoy games like these, and like Rol said perfecting stuff.
