Not hard to understand; I adore plenty of games so they wouldn't all fit into a top 10. Moreover, some of those that I adore don't deserve 'top 10 of a decade' status, but are just personal favourite picks.

Bioshock
From what I've enjoyed on other consoles: Halo, Gears of War, Half-Life 2, etc.
Also, I loved Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

Okay. It's a nice variation in genres, that makes it more 'obective' looking. At least Oblivion is close to your top 10.
You don't play on PC?
Cant argue with the top 2 but would have liked to have either Wind waker , Majoras mask or twilight princess in the mix somewhere.
My problem with the format of this list is that these zelda games are easily better than any game listed there excluding the top 4 which is where you could make the arguement that they arent.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!
Surprisingly good list. But Battlefield? Come on. RE4 always makes it into the top 10 of ALL TIME on IGN. How does it miss out on top 10 of the decade?

Not really big on PC playing. Partly the control input of keyboard and mouse puts me off (I know you can get gamepads, but feels too weird to be staring at my laptop screen whilst holding a Dualshock or what have you) but perhaps more importantly I didn't have a powerful PC during the PS2 era and my friends all mostly play Playstation/Xbox.
I do love PCs for strategy gaming, though. Played Rome: Total War a bit on a friend's rig and loved it. Good old tactical fun!
