Also stunned that the list does not contain a Halo or a Metal Gear Solid... |
Why is that "lmao"? Fallout 3 got the most GOTY awards in 2008 (I think).
Would u have said "lmao" if Oblivion was on the list?
|
I just think that F3 does not merit "classic" status in the slightest.
Again, I adored Oblivion but still wouldn't put it in the top 10 of the decade.
|
How can u not put it there if u adored it?
Anyway, let's hear your top 10 (roughly, u dont need to put time in it). Only games between 2000-2009.

Not hard to understand; I adore plenty of games so they wouldn't all fit into a top 10. Moreover, some of those that I adore don't deserve 'top 10 of a decade' status, but are just personal favourite picks.
Just for consoles that I've owned:
(PS1) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
(PS2) Metal Gear Solid 2 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec Burnout 3: Takedown Prince of Persia: Sands of Time TimeSplitters 2
(PS3) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Bioshock
From what I've enjoyed on other consoles: Halo, Gears of War, Half-Life 2, etc.
Also, I loved Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

Okay. It's a nice variation in genres, that makes it more 'obective' looking. At least Oblivion is close to your top 10.
You don't play on PC?
|
Not really big on PC playing. Partly the control input of keyboard and mouse puts me off (I know you can get gamepads, but feels too weird to be staring at my laptop screen whilst holding a Dualshock or what have you) but perhaps more importantly I didn't have a powerful PC during the PS2 era and my friends all mostly play Playstation/Xbox.
I do love PCs for strategy gaming, though. Played Rome: Total War a bit on a friend's rig and loved it. Good old tactical fun!

Youre young, you'll get used to it lol (keyboard and mouse).
