I supported Resident Evil until 4 game out.

I liked 4, but, I hated it as a Resident Evil game.

Remake RE2 plz! :D :D :D

to me RE5 was RE4 with co-op, they were both action-horror games and were completely different from the PRE-RE4 installments
I want Capcom to return to the survival horror roots but I know they're not since the RE4 fanbase has become so vocal its likely they will keep the series an action horror
RE0.1,Remake,2,3,&CVX >>>RE4 & 5

those pre RE4 games will remain true survival horror, and what RE was supose to be. RE5 it was like i was having a "DAYMARE" not a nightmare a daymare, thats how bad it was. if only capcom understood what gamers really want

Imo, RE 4 was brilliant..but RE5 sucked major ass...

Do you guys feel negative about RE5 only or RE4 too ?

Im negative about both RE4&5 but more of RE4, I been playing the series since the first one released on the PS1 and I think RE4 killed the series (you wouldn't even know its RE if Capcom change the title, character names, and a few minutes of audio)

I think the only thing wrong with Biohazard 4 was the storyline that was not Biohazard Biohazard5  the story of Biohazard 5 was more like the older ones  but if they wont to do Action Horror do it like the Onimusha games they got the balance perfect.

Japanese Pop Culture Otaku

Resident evil 5 was the first game I skipped in the whole resident evil universe (on Sony consoles). I really did not like the direction that 4 was going, but it was not bad because the controls (at the time) were some of the best. They really need to go back to what made resident evil great. To me it was the mutation of 2 & 3. That monster that would just adapt itself and meet you at the end of the game--you are armed with a rocket launcher and a timer letting you know that if you do not kill this thing you are going to be "nuked" along with all the other freakin' monsters in this God-forsaken town. Man that never gets old (IMO).

I think they should keep the RE4 style game....but maybe make it a little scarier and not so much action

I really liked Dead Space and thought they kept it scary and the right amount of action (too bad Dead Space 2 looks like it is going towards more of the action side of the spectrum)

I started making videos for youtube; check them out.

You should congratulate me. I destroyed the vile red falcon and saved the universe. I consider myself a hero.

If it goes back to its horror roots Resident Evil goes back to day one buys, but as long as the games are like Resident Evil 5 the series will strictly be for rental purposes!

veteran RE players who have happen to play the series since day one have notice the driving force in RE0,1,REMAKE,2,3 and CV, was the T-virus/G/T-Veronica.the introduction of Las plagas or Oroboros or some kind, gave gamers "THE WHAT THE F**K JUST HAPPEN EXPRESSION"

bottom line the direction, the plot of RE5 was going in the wrong direction, Even mikami the brain child of the RE franchise said it himself that he dislike how re5 went:-

Speaking in a recent interview with Official PlayStation magazine, Mikami, who's now working on games with ex-Capcom studio Platinum Games, said that playing Resi 5 would "just cause me stress".

"I probably won't play it. I won't like it, because it's not going to be the game I would have made," he said. "It'll just cause me stress if I play it. I think it could be fun for gamers to play it, but not for someone who has developed Resident Evil games.

"If I see anything in Resident Evil 5 that isn't done well, I'll be angry!"

On number five's similarities to Mikami's fourth Resi, he says "that's fine, isn't it? I think Resident Evil 5 doesn't need to change the series, but Resident Evil 6 will have to reinvent the series with another full model change or else it won't be able to keep on going."

Mikami's current projects are a joint Suda 51 horror game with EA and an unannounced game for Sega.

Mikami calls working on two projects at once "difficult", "but I'm director on my game for Platinum Games and producer on the game for EA. So if Suda does his job properly, my workload will decrease."

*IN REALITY MIKAMI WOULD RATHER CUT OFF HIS OWN HEAD RATHER THAN PLAY RE 5.

sad but true

The thing about resident evil is that its always been an action horror game.

It had some BOO! scares but the game was a complete action fest pretty much from part 2 and moving forward. What made it scary was the controls and lack of infinite ammo.

What resident evil should do is offer some puzzles and take away some ammo and we are good...
