Yep, but not this many times. I mean Wii has fallen too low while PS3 has stabilized at a solid number. Things will be real close from now on until both consoles get replacements.

Is there anything left at this stage that could create a genuine gap between them saleswise? Is it possible that one could break away? It would take a few killer apps or something right? Not likely I guess.
Not anymore. PS3 has a plaethore of Japanese games announced from 3rd parties, Wii not so much. Wii will depend on Nintendo's efforts to remain competitive, while the PS3 has both 1st and 3rd party games to remain at a steady pace.

Holy Crap........quite a discreapncy there. How long into the future does this list take into account. That's incredible. I mean, I've heard you be somewhat negative on Wii for a while, but damn. Then again, the slew of Ninty games coming out plus Dragon Quest should do quite a bit for the Wii. Don't know how big GT is in Japan, so yeah, should remain close. Thanks for staying on top of this Tres, so much infromation... X(

These are all the known upcoming 3rd party games from Japanese devs, it's 2010 and onwards.
Nintendo has a few 1st party games, but outside those the sales trend for the Wii should be a spike upon release of key games and a quick downfall. PS3 has many games to keep HW at a constant rate.

PS3 could garner up a lead with that support.. especially since it hasn't hit that magical $199 price point
