Bah, the code I got wont work

If ppl our having trouble with the codes then I can patiently wait till the 11th...at the Gamestop in my area on Saturday 6th 9pm we can actually play the game at the store...

I finally got it to work. I registered on the website with my UK PSN alt e-mail and set the UK as my location. The code it gave me worked on the UK PSN store. Be prepared though as it's a 1.7 gig download.

Anyway, as somebody else stated, it's like a point and click type of game. You find something to interact with in the environment be it a character, object, ect and you do an action. It's not going to be for everybody, but as long as the story doesn't take any weird turns like it did half way through in Indigo Prophecy, I'm quite interested in giving Heavy Rain a playthrough.

The fight scene in the sleazy place seemed to drag on for a little while though. I played it on the normal difficulty and didn't miss any of the QTE's. I also hope that heavy QTE segments wont last as long as they do in Indigo Prophecy. I understand they want to keep your attention, but I also want to be able to watch what's going on without it feeling like it's going on forever (ex- Indigo Prophecy: the scene where Lucas's apartment breaks away or the fight scene between lucas and the hooded man....... ugh)

I must say, I'm a little disappointed in some regards. But on the whole, very impressed with the immersion, and the atmosphere, which are of course the most important parts of the game.

I'll post a demo impressions article after I've played through a couple more times, but here's something to try: when Scott's having his asthma attack in the corridor, just leave him. For ten minutes. Fifteen minutes. Twenty minutes. And see what happens. I suppose, in the demo, they had to make some concessions, but that's just ridiculous.

I also had that bug with Laurie on one of my playthroughs: she was consistently following the same animation, from different camera angles, which involved her phasing through a bed.

Loved the Demo. Can't wait for the full game.

Only complaint was the camera options weren't always my ideal.

4 ≈ One

Probably no one will agree with me, but after playing the demo, I think will not bother and just watch an HD playthrough. QTEs are not for me.

hahahaa.some guys are so funny...
You re not deserve to play this game.its too good for you...go play another FPS or a Hack N Slash..
I like to get involved with games that are smart and different.im honoured that this game is on my collection(preorded one month ago)...yeah just from the demo i m sayin that.It has scenario and atmosphere(comfirmed by all the reviews) so i m sure about this one...
great job QD.hope seeing more games take risks like this...

"Release Greece From Chains"

Great game ! I loved the demo. It's a lot more mature than killing pink space marines for the 100th times...

At least for older people like me, this game will be a must. FPS are so boring now.

The demo is ok, I thought the Eurogamer Expo demo in the store was better though with the pressure to talk down the robber.

I didn't really like the clue finding that much, had some camera issue with button prompts being blocked from view also.

Yea that was annoying. Like when you go to leave the lady's room and go back into the hallway, the lamp shade (or whatever that was) blocks the button prompt (or the button prompt is at like 70% opacity)

The camera controls weren't as good as they were in Indigo Prophecy. Then again, I played Indigo Prophecy on the PC so moving the mouse for the camera while using the arrow keys to move the character was easy as pie. It doesn't seem like you can do that with Heavy Rain and the only way you can move the camera around (not just switching viewpoints) was to move the left stick while you weren't walking.
