The Ancel fanboy in me wants to say it's a BG&E2 release date announcement, but probably not. More than likely it's just the announcement of Assassin's Creed 3 or something.

I believe it was shelved/tabled. I would take this as a polite way for them to move away from the project and hope people forget about it.
