How did i take a jab at the Wii? Is it so bad to support the HD consoles, and cheer when they gain new developers? In a thread about a multiplat game? |
No.
It's perfectly fine.

That's exactly what i thought
I can't see this creating apathy with Wii owners.
They did that when they released The Conduit in all it's generic splendor...
VGChartz
after the sales of the conduit, im not surprised
It looks like vgchartz is tracking fairly in line with it's sales going by this interview, by the way. It's well outdoing Madworld and No More Heroes and should hit 500k with ease.
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
They might use the "Arc" for the PS3 version of The Grinder.

And they said it's "an amazing device" and "It works exactly as advertised".

I had a feeling. This is making much more sense from a publisher perspective now. I wonder if/how they will achieve the same thing with Natal?

Interesting and unexpected.
I don't care as long as they don't gimp development for any of the platforms. Make the game use the strengths of each platform and I will probably get the game for more than one (wii and pc). However if they do what most multiplat devs do then I probably won't be getting this game for ANY platform.
If the wii version has good motion + support for the melee weapons which was planned from the start awhile ago along with good online co-op then I will def grab the Wii version. If they make a significantly better PC version with super high textures and other goodies for high end machines then I will probably grab the PC version too. If they do what most multiplat devs do then I will be forgetting about this game ;)
Current Favorites:
Wii - Muramasa, MH3, Metroid Trilogy, RS2, Okami, RE4, COD, Dead Space, Scarface
PC - L4D, TF2, BFBC2, Killing Floor, Aquaria, Warsow, many UDK indie games
Mods - MechWarrior:Living Legends, Star Wars: Galatic Warfare, PVKII, Goldeneye Source, L4D mods
PS3 - Demon Souls, Way of the Samurai 3
Social Modding Club: ModDb | Steam
While I don't give a crap whether it is on other consoles or not, I'm a little annoyed that it was delayed because of this. Whatever, by then I probably would have lost all hype for it anyway. The trailer looks great though, and if my interest is still taken by Halloween 2011 then I will get it for Wii or PC.
If they use the PS3 wand and if Sony brings out a nunchuk type of controller to go with the wand... I'm going with the PS3 ver! Shit i would still go with the PS3 ver. if it uses the standard/wand setup like RE5.
