Ah, Drakengard. One of those extraordinarily rare M-rated games that actually dealt with mature content in a mature way. Seriously; most contemporary M-for-Mature fans would wet themselves if they knew even half of the stuff in that series.

So, five unannounced projects, huh? My thoughts:

  • Something KH-related (not necessarily KH3)
  • Something Fabula Nova Crystallis related, possibly for the Wii
  • An expansion pack for FFXIV (yes, I know FFXIV isn't out yet)
  • Infinite Undiscovery 2
  • Nomura's "highly requested" project

The only thing I'm certain they aren't working on is an FFVII remake. It's not happening, folks. Get over it. They could never possibly satisfy you anyway, which is part of why it's not going to happen.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

I would rather they do Vi first.

I really want FFVI on the DS. I don't want flashy graphics, just those deformed characters with the big heads.

They're obviously working on more then 5 unannounced titles.

I mean, just from the size of their company, you can work out from the studios without anything announced how much is set to come. It's well above 5 lol.

Just hope they can make something new and interesting.
