Athlon 64 X2 6000+...? I have an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ dual core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a Radeon 3850 with 256 mb, and I play TF2 on all high settings with 2x AA and get about 40-60 fps, sometimes goes to 30, only in the biggest fights does it drop to 20 fps.

I have a quad core with 6GB of RAM...I hope I can run this game.

Yes, but A) I don't think there's any game out there that benefits from more than 2 cores currently, and B) while ingame, there is currently no benefit to having more than 2 GB of RAM.

Excuse my ignorance, I don't know a lot about it, but on newegg it says that core I spoke of was equivelant to 3ghz. Isn't that minimum system requirements?

No, the minimum requirement is a 3.0 GHz Pentium 4, OR a 2.0 GHz dual core. The wording is confusing but that's what it means I think. You need a much faster processor if it's an older single core basically.

If you have an Athlon64X2 at all you can run it apparently.  Your 6000+ is much better than my processor, so you are more than fine.

Uh, guys? Am I the only one seeing this "7.5GB free hard drive space" requirement? None of the other ones shock me... but 7.5GB space required? Holy hell, that's a lot.

I mean, yeah, I've got more than enough. But I've never seen a game require half that much.
