As somebody who eats eggs two times per day, yoy can call me a bit of an egg fanatic. Always experimenting with what to add, how much to add, how yo form the curds, and so forth.

But… that’s besides the point. Motivated by a comment left by Curl on my recent thread regarding video game difficulty, I am now curious: Over easy, over medium, over hard, or sunnyside up. Which do you choose?

Also yes there is a difference between over easy/medium/hard and sunnyside up. Sunnyside up you don’t flip nor steam the top of the egg, whereas with the others you do flip.

Medium boiled with bread, mayo and tomato is best. And salt and pebber ofc.

Omelette or poached

Scrambled/omelette. I don't care for the taste of the egg white by itself.

scrambled or omelette, either way I usually sprinkles a little cheese on it. Scrambled I'll put on top of toast.

I'm not super picky but for fried eggs I'd go for over easy. Any of the options are fine though.

However Julia Roberts likes them

Never ate eggs (or at least that I remember) until I was about 10.
Scrambled/omelet is my go-to. Sunnyside or over easy is fine too. I'll eat hard-boiled sometimes (namely in salads), but probably my least favorite choice due to the chalkiness when they are overcooked.

If the primary ingredient in what i'm eating is eggs then I would generally favour poached or scrambled.

When eggs are fried I think it's fairly rare here in UK to flip the egg, normal practice is to flick a little of the hot fat on top of the egg to seal the yolk. (genuinely didn't know what "over-easy" meant till I was in my 20s as it's a very American term)

Perhaps to balance it out I should inject some Britishism; so as a kid I liked my eggs "runny with soldiers".
