Resident Evil Requiem is coming soon on Switch 2, and I’m curious about what everyone is planning. Would you buy it at launch, wait for a sale, or skip it entirely?

Also, on which platform do you plan to play it? Are you sticking with Switch 2, or are you considering getting it on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC instead?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on why you choose one platform over another and whether the gameplay, graphics, or other features influence your decision.

steam for me, as I don't own any consoles.

I plan to get it on PS5 if the reviews are good.  I generally get this kind of games of PS5 because the controller is better and I enjoy playing on the couch, even if the graphics are slightly bellow my PC

Games that are better with mouse and keyboard, or are good for modding (ex Baldurs Gate), or have online component I get on PC because of free online 

Games I want portability and don't care for big screen and/or are not graphic intensive I plan to buy on Switch 2

Switch 2 for me

Will get it on PS5 later on. In no hurry to play it since I have quite a lot of other games to get through. Have no current plan to buy the switch 2 and my computer is mostly a workstation and cannot handle modern games well.

Definitely getting it on PS5, but not at full price as I won't be playing it nowhere near right now.

Switch 2 for me too, because I don't care about the frame rate and etc. I just like to keep my Switch 2 with me, so I can play anywhere.

I think I will wait. I'm a huge Resident Evil fan but this is probably going to get a bunch of DLC and a "Gold Edition" a year later, for a way cheaper price. Once I get it I'll probably buy it on Switch 2, though.
