SNES games have aged better, the PS1's visuals were pretty warpy and terrible and many games suffered from poor Camera angles and controls, plus long load times.

This is kind of tough because the 90s is almost like two distinct decades, 1990-1995 and 1996-2000 are like two completely different eras. Gaming advanced at a much faster rate then.
The other funny thing is the N64 pops up a lot nowadays when people bring up 90s nostalgia, above both the SNES and Playstation.
PS1 is the only Sony home console I didn't own. It had some bangers, but nothing beats the SNES.

Yeah, I agree with this. It's basically the era of really polished 2D vs 3D in its infancy. But even though there are still some outstanding 2D games on the Playstation, it's pretty hard for any console to compete with the SNES for me.
Nothing beats the SNES in my book.

PS1 gave birth to the modern industry. It was revolutionary. SNES was great, but it was evolutionary. My pick is for PS1.
SNES was great, but PS1 had a far greater volume of amazing titles. A lot of SNES games didn't age well, either.
Tough-ish choice. Both have a handful of my all-time favorites. PS1 even moreso in number than SNES, and I’d also say it’s Sony’s best system. However the SNES has higher highs and more “important” games in a personal way. SNES wins.
N64 is “King of the 90s” however…
