Greetings and welcome to this year's Secret Santa PC event.

The Semi-Annual PC Secret Santa Event

Another year has passed and Christmas is creeping closer.

For those that want to join here is what you need to know:

EVENT DETAILS

• The event is open to all members who have at least 100 posts (members with fewer posts may be accepted, ask for details).
• If you want to join, leave a message in this thread, with your Steam and/or GOG ID and a link to your profile(s). If you have accounts on both platforms, you can state if you prefer one account over the other.
• You can also post a link to your wishlists, or leave a comment giving some clues to your Secret Santa about what kind of games you like, and which ones you really, really don't like.
• You can join as late as Sunday, December 20th. If everything goes well, I'll PM the identity of your Tiny Tim on the 21st. Just for info, the Steam Winter sale starts on the 18th.
• You can send your gifts between December 23nd and December 31st. There's no need to rush, take your time to find out what your Tiny Tim likes.
• While this event is about gifting Steam or GOG games, keep in mind that there are countless other stores like HumbleBundle/HumbleStore, Fanatical, GreenManGaming, and many more that you can use to get your gifts from. This option is worth keeping in mind as gifting directly from Steam can sometimes be troublesome because of the different regions it has, something that has caused problems in the past. (I try my best to minimize the problems, but I'm far from perfect). I recommend using Isthereanydeal.com to check prices on various stores.
• Remember that you can only gift games through Steam or GOG to those in your friends list, so, you know what to do.
• The minimum amount is $10. You can spend it in one single game or in several. But, if you feel extremely generous, you can spend as much as you want. Just keep in mind that: this is first and foremost about spirit and community.

Sure! I’ll join in, being finally a user on Steam. I’ll have to get my ID and such set up… whoever gets me will have the honor of deciding the first game added to my Steam library.

If you're already on steam, your profile number would do, just look at my account in my post above.

Just make sure you're making a wishlist, so we know what kind of games you like. If you need help on how to do that, we'll gladly help you
